DISCO BISTRO N1C

I discovered Disco Bistro few months ago when they opened their first pop up restaurant at Rising Sun pub Disco Bistro EC4 and I fell in love with their food, burgers...and pretty much everything.
So when one of my friends received two invitations for the launch party of Disco Bistro N1C at Granary Square near King's Cross, their new roller disco burger joint, she straight though about me. I knew already from Twitter the new location will include a roller ink.
When I though about the place, I already saw myself rolling like when I was young...but an accident happens before the party (result : broken wrist) so no roller for me, it is too dangerous ! I consoled myself with cocktails, wings, pop corn, fries and mini-burgers.
I really like their Lemon Pimm's Mojito but I didn't like the O'Hara Spiced Mule.
Disco wings were good, perfectly sticky, hot & crispy, I ate few plates.
Like always their burger was pretty good, I liked the new touch of "pineapple and bacon jam" which makes this burger original and it tastes different than all burger you have on London foodie scene at the moment, my friend didn't like it because she doesn't like sweet and salty mix.
I don't know for now when I will be able to come back and enjoy the full experience eating and rolling but for sure I'LL BE BACK in good health on "Funky town"!

J'ai découvert Disco Bistro il y a quelques mois quand ils ont ouvert leur premier restaurant temporaire au pub Rising Sun Disco Bistro EC4 et je suis tombée amoureuse de leur nourriture, hamburgers ... à peu près tout.
Donc quand une de mes amies a reçu deux invitations pour la soirée de lancement de Disco Bistro N1C à Granary Square près de King's Cross, leur nouvelle collaboration de roller & burger, elle a de suite pensé à moi. Je savais déjà par Twitter que le nouveau lieu possederait une piste de roller.
Quand je pensais au lieu, je m'imaginais déjà faire du patin à roulettes comme quand j'
étais plus jeune...mais un accident est arrivé avant la soirée (résultat : poignet cassé) donc pas de patin à roulettes pour moi, trop dangereux ! Je me suis donc consolée avec cocktails, ailerons de poulet, pop corn, frites et des mini-hamburgers.
J'ai beaucoup aimé leur Mojito de Pimm's au citron mais pas le cocktail O'Hara Spiced Mule.
Les ailerons de poulet étaient bons, parfaitement collant, chaud et croustillant, j'en ai mangé plusieurs assiettes.
Comme toujours, leur hamburger était trés bon, j'ai aimé la nouvelle touche d'ananas et de bacon qui rend ce burger original et le rend différent des autres burgers présent sur la scène gastronomique londonienne en ce moment, mon amie n'a pas aimé mais c'est parce qu'elle aime pas les mélanges sucrés-salés.
Je ne sais pas encore quand est que je pourrais revenir et apprécier l'expérience : manger et faire du patin à roulettes mais c'est certain JE VAIS REVENIR en bonne santé sur du "Funky town"!
